November 23

Meet our newest "Perfect Match"

Kaz, Donna Bonita, Marion & Reinhard

Congratulation to Kaz & Ray ! We are so thrilled that Donna Bonita is going home with you, she is such a special horse! Donna has been one of our favorites all along and we are happy to know that she will be in such qualified hands. Good luck you two and we are anxious to see her at the shows next season!

November 15

We just got some great pictures form Evelyn & Calimero that we wanted to share with you.

Evelyn bought and imported "Cali" through us last summer and we are very happy to hear that those too are having a blast together. We could not have found a better match for both of them. Evelyn loves him to pieces and Cali seems to truly enjoy his royal treatment ;-) So watch out for them in the show ring next season!

October 18

We are enjoying an awesome Indian summer in Germany which gave us the opportunity to video all our youngsters out in the sunshine.

(Thanks for the picture, Agnes ;-)

They all had a great 2006 show season and we are quite pleased with their training progress. Donna Bonita, who was so busy growing all year, is almost leveling out and imagine how she will move without being overbuilt in the back. Many of you know her from your lessons in Germany since she was the most popular horse even at her young age. We are actually quite happy that she is still around! Fantaghira, who Reinhard brought back from the Hanoverian auction last winter, is moving along nicely too. She has been to a few shows with Julia this season and has done quite well. This one will learn to passage in a heartbeat. And finally, Antasia, our " Greene"  she has been under saddle for only a few month and has been a sweetheart from the beginning. She has been to a couple of shows already and has done a great job, nothing can scare this one.

Check out the new videos on the German sales page!

Also, check out the new videos of Mac Duncan, our German Riding Pony Stallion! Marion and Duncan demonstrate the perfect training of a 5 year old according to the German training scale.

Marion, you have done a great job with him!

October 4

Raphael Heiligers Clinic is November 10-13, 2006.  We will have limited stalls available. Clinic & boarding spots are on first come first serve basis.  Please check the schedule and write Siggi an email with your preferred riding times.

September 27

US Majestic, a 4 year old American Warmblood stallion has traveled some 3500 miles all the way from Texas to be started by Siggi & Cavallis.   He is completely green (from leading through gates to standing in crossties, being hosed down with water, picking up hooves, to the vet & the farrier - EVERYTHING is NEW)

As you can imagine, he will be quite a project but the Cavallis Team is up for the challenge.

We are convinced that this young gentlemen will make a great BEFORE/AFTER case study - so keep checking back for updates.

Here are some impressions of the BEFORE time of this youngster.

Katie of Second Chance Ranch stopped in for a visist and played with Majestic in the roundpen

September 20

The first Annual Fundraiser for Second Chance Ranch was a big success. Nearly 40 people came together to support Katie & Second Chance Ranch in their relentless efforts to rescue, foster and find new homes for neglected, abused or surrendered horses, dogs and wolves.

With the help of generous friends, business owners and the community, we were able to raise more than $12,300!!!

This means that Second Chance Ranch can afford rubber stall mats, an updated watering system and some more improvements which will save time & money and make the operation so much more efficient.

THANK YOU to all the helpers, contributors and/or donors!!! We could not have done it without you!

The Girls (Chelly, Katie & Aubrey) helping at the door with check-in and Raffle tickets.

Diane is scooping out the beautiful silent auction items...

September 4

We got more visitors from Idaho! Cindy and her niece Chelsea stopped by to see if we could find a perfect match for her. Well, we found more then one, four made it into the finales and they are all so "very fun to ride"! Now we are so excited to know who will become Kalimero's (sold to Evelyn Crouch of Idaho) new barn mate!

August 29

Siggi is back on US soil after a great week at the WEG in Aachen. It was a blast! We are highly motivated and now our goals are even higher! We are sorry that we had to cancel the Raphael clinic on short notice due to the tight schedule of all parties. As a little incentive ;-) Sandra will be available for lessons at KGF from Sept.8 -13. Please check the lesson schedule and sign up early to make sure we have enough time to "play".

August 27

The dressage portion of the WEG came to an end around 1 am this morning. The atmosphere was unbelievable. The biggest crowd to have ever attended a dressage event of any kind. More than 40000 people celebrated a display of fantastic sport, fair judging and incredible showmanship.  Standing ovations, singing and lots of clapping for every deserving horse & rider... it was amazing how educated and fair the audience was. The big surprise was newcomer Andreas Helgstrand (only 28 years old) from Denmark with his 9 year old mare Blue Hors Matine, who had a piaffe and passage tour that was out of this world, granted the mare was purchased for the "minor" sum of 2.7 million Euros at the age of 7 but still - this young horse & rider combo had the crowd on their feet when they came passaging down the centerline one-handedly during the freestyle - they could not even finish his test before the audience exploded with claps & cheers  - incredible and definitely a pair to keep track of in the coming years.

Overall, the fight for medals was between Germany, The Netherlands, USA and Denmark this time... The US team was very strong, especially Steffen Peters & Florino and Guenther Seidel & Aragon. Brentina appeared a little sore during the team Grand Prix on Tuesday and Debbie scratched her from the remainder of the competition. The 4th horse / rider combo for the US team was Leslie Morse & Tip Top.

See you soon again!

August 8

This morning Farah Diba F left our barn to finally meet her owner Paula Johnson in MD. Paula bought this wonderful mare last October through Cavallis and decided to keep her in training with Sandra for a while. She is now solid at 2nd level, schooling 3rd and ready to "kick butts" in the US. It was a pleasure to have her and we wish her all the best for her new life in the US.
