The show
season in Germany is slowly starting and Sandra and Reinhard
are getting
our Spanish Ponies ready to rumble. It looks like we got quite a
nice collection for 2008!
Now we are
just waiting for all our visitors so we can show them off ;-)
Sandra and Hosco during 'boot camp' with Reinhard Everybody deserves a black stallion! Hungaro, getting better by the minute!

Jesse's
horse Guenther found a great home with local event rider &
trainer Whitney. Melissa, who has leased Guenther over the
past 6 months was there to support Jesse, as she has owned
Guenther since he was only two years old and it was a very tough
decision to make.
No worries,
ladies, we will cheer him on when he is off to the races and
kicks everyone's butt at this eventing thing. We all know
that he is brave and loves to jump, so what better home could
there be?
Whitney
& Guenther will have a blast.
Congratulations!

Many
greetings from Whistler Mountain.
Enjoying their well deserved vacation, Siggi and her hubby Chris. Action on the slopes...with helmet and all. sun and fresh snow have been good to us. No complaints here. Chris is up to no good but it's funny... I do miss the horsies and apparently making faces helps somehow... I think we found the Easter bunny jumping through the woods. Happy Easter.
Enjoying their well deserved vacation, Siggi and her hubby Chris.

I just got
an email for Laudino's new mom and thought to share it with you
- we are so proud;
"I just had to tell you........
OH MY GOD, I LOVE MY NEW HORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lorraine :-)"

March 21,
2008
Laudino has
found his perfect match with Lorraine of Whidbey Island only two
weeks after he came from his six month pasture break. We
de-haired him for a about a week and then Lorraine met the
sparkling gem and snatched him right up. He passed his vet
check with flying colors this morning and moved to Whidbey the
same day. I just got word from his new mom that he traveled like
a pro and already enjoyed a walk around his new home & turnout
in the big pasture.
Congratulations, Lorraine, to such a promising youngster and we
are excited to get to see you at the local shows.

Gold
Creek Schooling Show
First of
all, we had a blast despite the cold & rainy weather - at least
no snow like the last time.
Secondly,
we
cannot express how proud we are of the hard work and dedication
all the riders and their ponies put into their training and all that
"sweat & tears" definitely paid off today. Team CAVALLIS kicked
butt!! The judging was very fair and we received constructive
feedback to work on before our next show.
Congratulations to all.

The
Results:
Sandi &
Flamenco
Training
Level, Test 2 - 3rd place out of 10 with 60% despite a big spook.
Otherwise it would have been a solid mid-60s ride and even
higher in the ranking.
Training
Level, Test 4 - 2nd place out of 12 with 64% (right after Siggi
& Santero - not a bad trainer & student combo if I might say so
myself
;0)

Laurie
& Livingston
First
Level, Test 1: 1st place out of 10 with a score of 65.67%
First
Level, Test 4: 2nd place out of 11 with 64.47% (only
Siggi & Santero came even close to their solid performance, and
less than 0.5% separated them in the end - way to go, Laurie & Livi!!)

Kristin &
Iceman
Kristin
thought she would make it a bit more interesting by cutting her warm
up time down to 10 min because she graciously helped everyone else to
keep their stuff together. Thank you, Kristin! You rock!
Second
Level, Test 3 - 2nd place with 64.19%
Second
Level, Test 4 - 1st place with 64.29%

Siggi &
Santero
This was
Santero's first outing at First Level.
Training
Level, Test 4: 1st place out of 12 with a whopping 76.4%
First

Melissa and
Colette visited and supported us, even though they had a long
day taking care of the other ponies at the barn in the cold
weather. Thank you for your support.
Colette &
Santero - two youngsters with a very bright future :0)
and Iceman
really really wanted a treat and he was soooo... close... No
fair...

Professor
Livingston is enjoying a quiet moment of serenity and
superstardom.

We are
anxiously looking forward to our next show.
