Bundeschampionat in Germany

Helen Langehangenberg, our upcoming clinician won the L Klasse division for 5 year olds on the Rhineland stallion Fuerst Khevenhueller with the dream score of 9.0 (click here). She also won the class for the 4 year old riding horses (mares & geldings) on the Oldenburger mare Silberalster. She placed 5th in the 3 year old division with Santorin MT.  Helen also competes some awesome German riding ponies, which resulted in a first place in the 4 year old division with the mare Cara Mira 58 and a 2nd and 5th place for 3 year old ponies with Not-For-Sale and Double Joy, respectively.

Sebastian Heinze  (clinician) placed 5th with the Oldenburg stallion Froschhkoenig for the 3 year old riding horse division. He earned another 5th place in the 4 year old division with the stallion Fanconi.

Marion Schleypen, our good friend, mentor and clinician finished 3rd in the M Klasse division for 6 year olds on her Hanoverian stallion White Kiss (click here)

This is an tremendous accomplishment, as the Bundeschampionat is one of the most competitive and prestigious events Germany has to offer and rider & horse combos have to go through a tedious qualifying process in order to compete against the crème de la crème of Europe.

Whidbey Island Show results

Sandi & Drambuie had their first show ever, competing at Training Level Test 2. Drambuie was an absolute champ, loading, hanging out at the show and achieving a 5th place first time out.

Kristin and her Iceman were on top of their game once again, showing Second Level Test 2 & 4, resulting in two wins, one third and one fifth place.

Peter and Iggy were showing at First Level, improving some of the all important canter work to 7's, which resulted in a second and fourth place - way to go.

Siggi & Flamenco had an awesome show, finishing 1st at Fourth Level, 2nd and 3rd at their Third Level Test 3 class with qualifying scores.

Whidbey Island hosted another great show and Cavallis students & horses rocked the boot.

Paige & Dan O'Brien had their 3-3 debut and kicked butt in their 2-4 class. Did I mention that they also won a 3day eventing competition last weekend?	Lynne showed off her mare, Eiswein at 2-4 with a 64.7% and placed 3rd.	left to right: Lynne, Kecia on Mio, Peter, Kristin on Iceman, Paige	Paige and her Dan in a candid moment.
Kecia's winner face. She placed 1st in her 1-4 class with a whopping 69% and 3rd place in her 2-2 class. Congratulations!!	Kristin & Iceman are unstoppable. They won the AA High Point Award with 68%, had their 2nd level debut and won that class with a 66%. Congrats :)	The black stallion of the hour... Milenio V.	Dan O' Brien at work.

We missed Kecia this time around but we had fun nevertheless.	Siggi and Menco during their canter extension.	Kristin and Siggi"s hubby Chris, who has been nominated the best show dude ever - he always had icecold water handy :0)	concentrating very hard during tehor 4th level test, which resulted in a 5th place.
Iggy and Peter during their T-4 class, which Peter won with a 68%. Kristin followed shortly thereafter, placing 3rd with a 66.7%. They ROCK!!	Menco having way too much fun shoing off his gorgeous extensions.	Peter and his Iggy during a well deserved break.

Congratulations to all of you guys!!! It sounds like everybody was having fun and did awesome!

I am so jealous that I could not join you for the show!

Here in Germany we are slowly approaching the “J” day which could be any time from now.

Rey is still a Champ and will probably deliver me to the emergency room ;-)

It was show time on Whidbey Island this weekend and we followed our calling to go and kick some bootie :0)

 

 

Fanclub CAVALLIS. left to right: Peter, Kristin on Iceman, Brigitte, Ann-Kathrin, Jordan, grandam Fox, Jama, Kecia on Mio, Eden and Siggi	Siggi & Menco during their 4th level test, which they ended up winning - way to go.	Kristin and her Iceman after a winning 1st level test, which also earned her the high point award.	our high point dressage queen - the hard work over teh past year is finally paying off.	Siggi and Menco are pleased with their first rated show, which resulted in one first place and three second places.
Half-time with 4 more tests to go...with support from Germany, Ann-Kathrin (rechts) and her mom, Brigitte (links)	Cindy, Paige & Dan O'Brien were also on Whidbey Island but not for the dressage show; instead they had way too much fun doing three day eventing.	we met old friends, Pyrotechnic, a mare that Lynne & Peter bred and raised. She is owned by their farrier and doing great at this discipline.	Peter's Iggy is concentrating on his job - their First level, test 4 debut.	Kecia and Mio during their ROCKING 68% winning First Level Test.
Mio's proud mom Jama was also on the Island for a wedding and was able to watch her superstar.	Kristin and her proud aunt Lynn, who was the one that brought Iceman and Kristin together in the first place.	Peter & Iggy during their T-4 test, which earned them a 2nd place.	The boyz and girls - Kecia & Mio on the left, Siggi & Menco on the right.	The Boyz were very proud of themselves.
The net result - not too shabby...	ok ok - we are super happy with the results and are looking forward to the next show in 3 weeks.	Iceman is ready to go home...	Who is posing more - Fabio aka Menco or Kecia aka Princess 1...I think it's a tie
